All of the charity’s trustees are unpaid volunteers and live in the local area.
Our current trustees are:

Karen and her family have lived in Thames Ditton since 1985. For 16 years (until 2023) she was a local Elmbridge Borough councillor (Thames Ditton & Weston Green Residents’ Association) with particular interest in the built environment and planning. Since 2020, she has been a trustee of the Thames Ditton Almshouse charity. Prior to her retirement, her ‘day job’ was in marketing and market research, specialising in the financial and professional services sectors.

Caroline James (Secretary)
Caroline has lived in Thames Ditton with her family for nearly 30 years; she is currently a councillor at Elmbridge Borough Council and sits on the Executive of the Thames Ditton Residents Association. Like all the trustees, she is proud that the community can provide 12 almshouses – much needed accommodation for those residents of the area on a lower income. She also runs her own recruitment business.
